ohn is a consultant Complex Case Solicitor in the Crown Court specialising in Criminal law. John deals with all aspects of criminal law, specialising in complex Fraud cases, including VAT, Missing Trader Intra-Community and carousel fraud. John has extensive experience dealing with serious drug offences, in particular those recently prosecuted under Operation Venetic (Encro). John also represents defendants faced with allegations of Murder, Manslaughter and serious offences against the person and has experience in dealing with Personal Injury claims, civil and Commercial Litigation and Regulatory breaches.
John first graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Economics where a module on the Introduction to Law, Tort and Contract piqued his interest in Law. This resulted in taking the Graduate Diploma in Law and pursuing a career in Law that he has enjoyed for the last 20 years.
Outside of work, John loves to travel with his family, as much as he enjoys staying at home spending quality time together and walking the family dog. John’s interests include the cinema, particularly crime thrillers (no surprise), skiing, mountain biking and also property renovation.
