Abbey Solicitors Successfully defended another defendant accused of the Enchrochat conspiracy. R – V – M (December 2023)

Abbey Solicitors successfully defended an Encrochat case of considerable seriousness at Kingstown Crown Court.

Abbey Solicitors’ client faced an indictment alleging conspiracies to supply cocaine and cannabis, conspiracy to acquire criminal property and conspiracy to sell or transfer a prohibited weapon, named an AK47 firearm.

The jury found the defendant not guilty on all counts following a lengthy trial at Kingston Crown Court.

If convicted, the defendant was likely to receive a custodial sentence of over 20 years imprisonment.
